Samantha Williams

Samantha Williams from Mooresville, NC, joins her sister Sloan as our sporting dog authorities for Team Young Guns. Samantha is 15 years old and has been involved with the outdoors since she was just 5 year old. She has worked as an Amateur Dog Trainer at Beaverdam Kennels for the past 5 years and works alongside Charlie Jurney, one of the most respected sporting dog trainers in the country. Dog owners from around the states can send their dog to Beaverdam Kennels to receive basic and advanced retriever training, puppy head start program, obedience training, professional handling, or even private lessons.

In addition to dog training, Samantha also enjoys deer, waterfowl, and upland hunting every chance she gets. She was invited to showcase her talents at the 2006 Camp WaterDog Daze sponsored by Ducks Unlimted, and has been published in Hunting Retriever Magazine. Samantha also enjoys competing in UKC Hunt Tests where she has earned over 1500 points on her own dog is is pursuing the 2000 Points Club. She works hard at her passion and may be the youngest person ever to pass the HRC Grand competition.
